Chapter 40: Day 40: Why Do We Underestimate How Long Things Will Take?

🔒 This chapter is locked · 20 Quills

Why does the human mind hold on to negative things more easily? Why do unfinished tasks linger in our thoughts? Why do we sometimes keep defending an idea even when we know it's wrong? A Year Inside the Mind is a brief journey through psychological concepts that help us make sense of the human mind, emotions, and behavior, illustrated with examples from daily life. Every day offers a new concept, a new viewpoint, and a new question to ask yourself… Our aim isn't to change everything in one day. It's to understand ourselves a little better every day.
