Rafa's POV.
Rafa had just arrived at school and parked his Ninja motorcycle. As he walked along, countless eyes watched him, including those of the new students who had just arrived.
"Oh my gosh ... that Senior is so handsome."
"He's my idol!"
Their whispers were still loud enough for Rafa to hear.
He stood in front of the corridor, directing the new students straight to the assembly field. From a distance, he saw a girl talking to the security guard, who was about to close the gate.
A smile spread across his lips when he recognized her.
Rafa let the girl run past him.
"Ugh ... what a pain. My shoelace came undone again."
Rafa heard her grumble and felt annoyed—he intended to walk over and greet her.
THUD!!!
Rafa flinched slightly—the girl had suddenly stopped.
"Ow, my shoulder hurts so bad!" The girl winced in irritation as she gently rubbed it.
"Hey, stop!" Rafa shouted irritably when he saw that the girl hadn't even looked at him.
The girl stopped.
Rafa saw the startled look in her eyes as she rubbed her chest.
The girl stared silently at him, seemingly deep in thought.
Rafa instinctively moved closer. "Didn't you learn any manners? You should've apologized instead of just walking away," he said, a little annoyed.
Rafa glanced at her name tag to make sure her name really was Dian.
"Sorry, I'm in a hurry!" the girl said.
"Then don't oversleep, so you won't be late," Rafa shot back in a slightly harsh tone. He only said it because he wanted her to respond. But Rafa's plan failed—the girl merely lowered her head in silence, God knew what she was thinking.
Rafa tried to change the mood. "Diandra Adelia Khairunissa—that's your name, right?" Rafa asked, raising one eyebrow.
The girl nodded.
"Don't you have a mouth?"
"I do, Senior!"
"Then why didn't you answer me?"
The girl let out an exasperated sigh. "Senior, I'm already late and need to hurry inside. If you want to yell at me, do it later, okay? After lunch break," she said dismissively before heading toward the assembly field.
Rafa was completely out of ideas for getting her to talk to him. He was incredibly annoyed that the girl named Dian was ignoring him.
"Wow, she's the first new student who's ever dared to talk back to you. Good for her," Kevin remarked. Rafa didn't respond and immediately walked away.
After school, Rafa had planned to give Diandra the shoes he'd bought yesterday. He had noticed Diandra's shoes at the supermarket, and something had moved him to buy a new pair for her. For some reason, he'd been drawn to Diandra ever since he first saw her.
Rafa hesitated for a moment before approaching Diandra, who had already left through the school gate.
"Shit ... I look like an idiot!" Rafa cursed, berating himself.
When he got home, Rafa went straight to his room and collapsed onto his bed.
"I hope you wear the shoes I gave you tomorrow!" Rafa stared at his bedroom ceiling, then closed his eyes to rest for a while.

"What does he actually want?" Diandra grumbled as she slipped her phone into her pocket.
"Seriously, you're unbelievable, you know that?" Diandra snapped when she saw Vita sitting primly in the cafeteria, sipping Thai tea.
Vita turned toward her with an innocent expression.
"I've been waiting for you forever. The worms in my stomach are practically staging a protest," she said, then flashed a wide smile, showing off her white teeth covered by braces.
Vita nudged her Thai tea aside and leaned closer.
"So, what happened when Senior Rafa came over to you earlier?" Vita asked eagerly.
"He made pointless small talk, and in the end, he asked for my number!"
"He's totally hitting on you, Dian. If he asks you out, say yes!" Vita exclaimed excitedly.
Diandra clicked her tongue. "Oh, please. Don't act like you know everything!"
Vita huffed in annoyance.
"Hi!" someone greeted them as they approached.
Diandra and Vita turned at the same time.
"Mind if I join you?" the person asked.
"Sure, go ahead!" Diandra replied warmly.
"I'm Anggie. Anggie Kirana Dewi," she introduced herself, extending her hand with a bright smile.
Vita looked at Diandra, her expression conveying something Diandra immediately understood: What a handful.
"I'm Diandra, and this is Vita!" Diandra replied.
Anggie grinned to herself, looking thrilled. Vita's guess had been right—this girl really couldn't sit still.
"I finally found some friends! I've been asking people to be my friends all morning, but no one wanted to. They said I was @#%$%#@!"
Since she spoke for so long, her words became unintelligible. Vita busily moved her head to follow the direction of Anggie's index finger as it swung in every direction while she rambled incoherently.
Diandra rubbed her temples, feeling dizzy as she watched the antics of the two creatures in front of her.
Suddenly, a commotion broke out inside the cafeteria. Diandra was enjoying Bakso Ngakak, as Mpok Kunti called it, whose chili sauce was famous for being scorching hot and whose flavor made your tongue dance.
"Hey, look at what's causing all that commotion over there!" Anggie pointed toward five handsome guys who had just entered the cafeteria—their arrival sent all the girls into hysterics.
"She's right, Dian. Wow, they're all gorgeous!" Vita said, resting her shoulder against Diandra's.
"Whatever! I'd rather enjoy my meatballs!" Diandra looked completely indifferent to all the lovesick girls screaming like idiots.
"You're so clueless, Dian. They're the most wanted guys in this school," Anggie complained, exasperated.
Diandra rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"But I've heard there are six of them. Supposedly, the sixth one goes to school here too, but nobody wants to tell anyone who he is. All I know is that they call him Eagle Eyes," Anggie explained at length.
"Why's that?" Vita asked curiously.
"Their gang leader strictly forbade them from saying the name of the member who got expelled," Anggie answered in a slightly lowered voice.
"And they named their gang the Backstreet Bo—"
"Were you talking about us?" Bayu interrupted, clearly offended by what Anggie had just said.
Anggie's eyes widened when she saw the five handsome guys she'd just mentioned standing right in front of them.
Vita elbowed Diandra's arm to signal her.
"You're Diandra?" someone asked, staring at her.
Diandra looked up.
"Starting today, you're my girlfriend!"
And every eye in the cafeteria turned toward her.
