The World of the Story A hot college town with Latin names, living for the college, packed cafés, crowded bars on Fridays. The group is in their senior year, living in a student housing complex with shared studio apartments (Giulia shares one with Lara). Sebastian is the exception: he lives alone, with a car and clothes that don’t fit a student budget, still a mystery no one has solved. It’s a young-adult atmosphere: intense but human drama, the mistakes of people who are twenty-one or twenty-two. A sense that an era is ending, last parties, last chances before the real world comes knocking.
