# Experimental Report
Beside it was a room with a door that was still locked. She shone her flashlight through the glass section of the door. Inside, she could make out a metal bed and a dusty bio-scanner table.
“Hmm?” Hexa moved closer.
Sssssh…
A strange sound came from behind her. She immediately turned around.
“Brrr…” A chill prickled the hairs on the back of her neck.
Just as she was about to step forward, her shoe touched something. A single old document.
Subject #1 W19/Skylee L./H-Synth&Extrac. Success
Sssssh…
The air around the room grew much colder. Without a second thought, she folded the document and slipped it into her vest.
She opened the holographic display on her wristwatch.
“Why isn't this building being detected?” The coordinates indicated that she was inside the laboratory complex, yet the building she was standing in did not appear in the system at all.
“There's a lot that's strange about this place,” she muttered.
A while later, Hexa finally found her way back.
“How was it? Done sightseeing?” Noah asked.
“Yeah,” Hexa replied.
Noah removed his gloves. “Wait a little longer. This organism is incredibly rare. I want to take it back and study it at the laboratory in the city.”
“Is that okay?” Hexa asked hesitantly.
“I don't know. Take this.” Noah handed her a storage container. He glanced at the watch on his wrist. “It's almost evening. We can't stay here much longer. I've also asked everyone to leave the Central Lab.”
“Because of what happened earlier?” They boarded a helicopter bound for the city.
“Yeah. I'll seal it back up,” Noah continued.
“Good.”
They returned to the central laboratory in the city and placed all the samples in the observation room. Noah chose to remain at the laboratory, while Hexa returned to her apartment.
As soon as Hexa arrived at her apartment, she hurried to retrieve the document from her vest.
Rustle…
The document contained a photograph of a girl with long golden hair, but the image was blurry, and her face could not be seen clearly. Its contents left Hexa deep in thought.
VINN BIOTECH. LABORATORY & RESEARCH EXPERIMENTAL REPORT DOCUMENT ID: W19/SLH-HS01
CLASSIFICATION: CONFIDENTIAL DATE: December 12, 3113
Subject Code: W19/SLH Age: 19 years Status: Stable Phase #1 Research: Synthesis of Human Blood Cells & Plant Specimen Objective: To test the biological compatibility of Subject #1's blood with a plant specimen (Bloomberg Flower) in order to create hybrid tissue with high regenerative capability.
EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS Cell compatibility reached 90%. No tissue rejection was detected. Regenerative activity increased by up to 200%. A new vascular structure successfully formed between the blood cells and plant cells. The hybrid tissue remained stable for 26 hours.
STATUS: SUCCESSFUL
Lead Researcher: Dr. McLarren Note: Subject #1 has been deemed eligible to enter Phase II Testing after this report is approved. Document Archived.
Hexa lay back on her mattress. She closed her eyes, held her breath deeply, and stored the document in a hidden place.
“What happened three hundred years ago…?”
