🔒 This chapter is locked · 20 Quills

A psychology graduate who adores daydreaming about being a princess at home. Her boss, Alden Pradigta, is an icy, perfectionist CEO who can't stand chatty people above all else. Sava just needs a job to pay for her lifestyle and her newest collection of goodies. She never imagined that a just-for-fun job application, sent at her best friend's insistence, would put her face-to-face with Alden Pradigta—a man in a black suit able to test her physical and emotional safety within minutes. Sava knows she talks too much, lacks experience, and is far from the ideal assistant. Yet between her blunt honesty, unusual training background, and the nerve to use psychology to “handle difficult people,” Alden makes a surprising choice: he hires her. Amid piles of paperwork, tight deadlines, and nonstop arguing, Sava keeps asking herself one question she can't shake: “Why Did You Hire Me?”
