On this pitch-black street, all kinds of smells and sounds filled the air...
In a dark alley at the corner, a mature woman with medium-length curly hair, dressed in Barbie pink and wearing platform heels loud enough to echo down the entire street, strode forward one confident, utterly unapologetic step at a time. Every click of her heels rang out with power.
On the other side of the corner, the atmosphere was completely different. A group of people dressed in black shirts and black pants, sporting bizarre hairstyles and hair colors—the kind of look people automatically labeled as delinquent punks—were passing by. As the two sides crossed paths, one of the Mohawk-haired delinquents glared at the mature woman with open displeasure and murderous eyes.
"You're annoying as hell. What the hell are those shoes? Take them off!" the Mohawk delinquent snapped, then kicked at her.
Caught completely off guard, the woman was kicked hard enough to lose her balance and pitch forward. But as luck would have it, she had once been a gymnast. With a reflexive one-handed cartwheel, she flipped sideways, then landed perfectly at an Olympic level with a smile on her face, chest out and back arched in confidence.
The whole sequence flowed like water—there wasn't a single flaw to criticize. I give it a ten.
The Mohawk delinquent had failed to bully her and had been mocked for it on top of that. His furious glare signaled to his companions to pick up the bottles lying by the roadside and hurl them at the woman...
Seeing the bottles flying toward her, the woman covered her face in panic and shouted:
"A-Wan! Your Auntie Lily's being bullied! Stop standing around and come save me!"
As soon as she finished speaking, a burly yet somewhat clumsy figure burst out from the end of the alley with slow, heavy footsteps. All anyone heard was a series of loud clanks. Broken glass scattered across the ground, and a young man stood in front of the mature woman.
"The... the... the most... beautiful... Li... Lily... Au... Auntie... I... I'm here to protect you. I used my head... to... defeat... the bottles."
After stammering his way through that patchwork sentence, the young man put on a determined look. He pulled a mask from the pocket of his hoodie and finally managed to put it on after a flustered struggle.
"I... I... I'm going to be... a hero. No... no one can... see me."
He turned around and handed his over-ear headphones to his aunt for safekeeping. At the same time, Auntie Lily took out her phone and casually snapped a selfie with the group of delinquents and her nephew in the background. She showed no emotion, but there was a hint of excitement in her eyes as she seriously began editing the post.
The young man waddled duck-style toward the Mohawk delinquent, pointed at him, and said:
"You... you... you're not... a good person. You definitely... definitely aren't from around here."
The Mohawk delinquent waved a liquor bottle.
"Yeah, I don't live here."
He looked the low-budget cosplay freak in front of him up and down with contempt.
The young man raised a fighting stance, his eyes sharp as he stared at the group of delinquents.
"You... you bullied Auntie Lily. I... I have to... protect this place... protect Auntie."
After hearing that, the Mohawk delinquent didn't bother talking anymore. He called over his whole crew, and they charged in to beat the young man up.
Five people surrounded him, laughing as they threw punches and kicks. Although his movements were somewhat clumsy, the young man dodged with startling reflexes. He blocked with his palms and forearms, then deflected their attacks with a flurry of chain slaps.
Unfortunately, he tripped over a small rock. His feet tangled together, and he went face-first into the pavement, rolling several times before landing in a hilarious position with his chin on the ground and his butt sticking straight up. Then he passed out and began snoring loudly.
The Mohawk delinquent approached, crouched down, and laughed condescendingly at this entertaining weirdo. In a painfully old-fashioned move, he ordered his companions to haul the man up and hold him on his knees.
"What decade is this? You still playing hero? What an idiot!"
He reached out to yank off the young man's mask.
At that exact thousandth of a second, a gust of wind blew by... and, in a cartoonishly perfect moment, burst the bubble of snot hanging from the young man's nose.
The young man was startled awake by his own snoring. Maybe he woke up cranky, because his eyes flew open in fury. In an instant, power surged through his entire body. He sprang up from his kneeling position with a jolt, flinging away the four men holding him and sending them tumbling in every direction.
"The young man has awakened?" said a mysterious voice.
With a terrifying aura of pressure, he walked straight toward the Mohawk delinquent. He seized the man's hand in an iron grip and raised it high into the air...
Meanwhile, the scene cut back to Auntie Lily. She was still perfectly at ease, happily taking selfies with the delinquents as her backdrop.
The Mohawk delinquent rose onto his toes, struggling through the pain as he wailed:
"Ugh... What are you guys looking at? Hit him! Kill him!"
The other four companions were dumbfounded by the young man's sudden transformation. In a panic, they rushed in front of him and kicked and punched him, hoping he would let go. But to this chuuni guy with a hero's dream, a mask, and what seemed to be a nasty case of morning rage, their attacks barely registered.
"Justice... is a... beautiful... beau... beautiful... beautiful seed. I want to bloom. I want to bloom. You guys are bad guys!"
After saying this to himself, the young man grinned toothily and casually tossed the Mohawk delinquent far behind him.
The camera zoomed in for a close-up of his arm. It had grown even thicker and more muscular, bulging with raised veins. He spun around, and the young man's mental state and gaze became resolute, as if his batteries had been fully charged.
He raised his solidly muscled arm again. Time seemed to stop. Everything moved in slow motion.
Then came one lightning-fast forward slap!
Before one of the delinquent companions could even react and run, a huge palm print was stamped across his forehead, eyes, nose, and mouth. He rolled his eyes back and passed out.
Next, the young man stuck out his butt and set off at a duck-like trot. At a speed too fast for the eye to follow, he delivered three stomping kicks and a finishing headbutt, beating the remaining delinquents senseless.
After taking out all four of them in one breath, his expression instantly softened. He even turned around to glance at his aunt, who was still frantically taking selfies, and gave her a mysterious smile.
Looking down at the four men sprawled on the ground, he grinned with an extremely satisfied expression and even stomped on one of the delinquents twice.
"The... the most... beautiful... pretty... Auntie Lily... I'm a hero... right?"
Drooling and grinning stupidly, he danced some incomprehensible dance, shook his head from side to side, and wandered off on his own.
All he left behind was a departing figure no one could possibly understand.
