"So you're here after all."
The very person Selina didn't want to meet had suddenly appeared right in front of her. Her mood worsened the moment she left the gathering of girls, only to be greeted by Raka's appearance as soon as she stepped outside.
"Seriously..." Raka muttered, clearly displeased.
"What is it?" Selina asked at once.
"After not seeing you for several days, I find you here," Raka said arrogantly.
"...." Selina saw no reason to respond to him.
"Why are you just standing there in silence?" Raka complained, feeling ignored.
"Ugh... What do you want me to say?" Selina shot back. Calmness was simply part of her nature, even when she was annoyed inside.
'I'm really exhausted today. At this rate, rumors could spread like wildfire,' Selina complained inwardly.
Meeting in a public place like that was bound to attract the attention of people who knew her. Even the girls from the group who had intended to follow Selina when she left were watching from nearby.
"How long are you going to keep acting like a child? Don't be like this. Come on, let's talk," Raka said.
Raka's brows drew together, showing how irritated he was by Selina's attitude. From the outside, it was obvious that Raka was forcing himself to ask Selina to talk.
"Then just briefly tell me what you want to discuss," Selina refused.
Selina no longer bothered to hide her annoyance. She wanted to end their meeting as soon as possible.
"Ugh... Fine. It's not like I have anything that needs a long explanation anyway," Raka agreed.
"So, are you happy now, after sulking like a little kid and walking out on that important day?" Raka asked sarcastically, referring to the day he had planned to propose to Selina at her birthday party.
"Sulking?" Selina bristled at Raka's assumption. "I think you've misunderstood," she added coldly.
"What did I misunderstand? Do you think marriage is just a game?!" Raka snapped.
"Even if you know nothing about this world because you've been spoiled rotten, you still can't act however you want just to indulge your own feelings." With his arrogant manner, Raka backed Selina into a corner.
"Do you have any idea how much I suffered back then?!" Raka exploded.
"Suffered?!" Selina snapped, her patience already wearing thin. "Why should I care about that?" she challenged, fixing Raka with a sharp stare.
Just like Karina before him, when Selina had suddenly turned that sharp gaze on her, Raka reacted the same way. He flinched in shock. It turned out that Selina, who was always so calm and graceful, could also have such a piercing look in her eyes.
"Our conversation that day is over, isn't it?" Selina said, her graceful expression returning in an instant. "I don't know why you came all the way here to see me like this... but one thing is certain: I don't want anything to do with you anymore."
"How dare someone like you throw Rebecca out and humiliate her?!" Raka suddenly shouted. He blurted it out after seeing Selina about to turn and leave.
"Rebecca? Who is she?" Selina asked in confusion, trying to recall the unfamiliar name. "Oh... Do you mean that woman from before?"
"Don't pretend you don't know!" Raka snapped.
"Rebecca came to me in tears! She was kicked out of where she was staying. Even the hotels she went to refused to take her in! Did you really have to go that far?" Raka accused her.
"You're accusing me of doing it? So that's what you actually wanted to talk about?"
"Who else could have done it if not you?! You were angry because she was there that day, weren't you!"
