A gust of cold wind swept through Room 13.
The red-clad shadow figure and the child gradually dissolved into the black mist.
Only the child's voice continued to echo through the room.
> "The Twin Vessel Plan..."
> "...isn't over yet."
Immediately afterward.
The entire floor began to shake violently.
## The Escape
The fire alarm suddenly rang.
**Ring... Ring... Ring...**
Red sparks fell from the ceiling.
The spotless white walls gradually turned charred black.
Thick smoke filled the hallway.
To Nhuoc coughed violently.
"Luc Minh!"
"We have to get out!"
But Luc Minh stood motionless.
In his eyes.
The scene before him was no longer the hospital as it was now.
It was...
Twenty years ago.
## The Night of the Fire
People screaming.
Children crying.
Wood crackling and exploding in the flames.
Maoshan Taoist priests in Taoist robes ran everywhere.
One of them was carrying two newborn babies.
It was **Luc Thien Ha**.
Behind him.
A shadowy figure in a black cloak held a torch.
He shouted.
"Don't let the vessels survive!"
The torch was thrown.
A sea of fire erupted.
The temple disappeared into smoke and flames.
Just before the image vanished.
Luc Minh saw...
Luc Thien Ha wasn't running away at all.
He turned and ran back into the sea of fire.
As if he were trying to save someone.
## The Charred Notebook
The scene dissolved.
Luc Minh opened the notebook he had taken from the safe.
Many of its pages had been burned black.
Only a few lines remained legible.
> **"If both children survive..."**
> **"...the Demon King will awaken."**
> **"If one child dies..."**
> **"...the seal will last another twenty years."**
There was a signature at the bottom of the page.
**Luc Thien Ha.**
Luc Minh clenched the notebook.
"No..."
"My Master would never do this."
## The Strange Photograph
To Nhuoc held the old photograph beneath the flashlight.
"Look."
Luc Minh took it from her.
At first, the photograph of Maoshan Temple showed only a little over twenty people.
But when the light shone on it.
Behind Luc Thien Ha.
Another shadowy figure slowly appeared.
A man wearing a black Taoist robe.
His face...
Had been deliberately scratched out by someone.
Even stranger.
The erased part of his face was gradually reappearing.
Each feature emerged as if an invisible hand were drawing it.
Until...
One eye opened.
The eye in the photograph...
Suddenly stared straight at Luc Minh.
## The Man in the Photograph
**Crack!**
The photograph split in two.
The man stepped out of the photograph as if passing through a door.
His entire body was covered in ash.
His eyes were cloudy white.
But the presence emanating from him...
Was incredibly powerful.
He looked at Luc Minh.
And smiled faintly.
"It's been a long time..."
"...little junior brother."
Luc Minh stared blankly.
"Who are you?"
The man replied slowly.
"I was once..."
"...Maoshan's senior disciple."
"Before..."
"...I was erased from history."
## The Final Warning
He pulled half of a purple talisman from his sleeve.
Then placed it in Luc Minh's hand.
"Find the other half."
"Otherwise..."
"...no one will be able to stop the Huyen Ling Society."
Luc Minh was about to ask another question.
But the man suddenly looked toward the end of the hallway.
His expression changed.
"He's here."
A massive surge of black energy poured in.
All the glass doors shattered.
A chilling laugh rang out.
> "Traitor..."
> "...you still refuse to disappear?"
The man in the Taoist robe gave a cold laugh.
"Give this to the heir..."
"...and I will have fulfilled my promise."
With that.
He used all his strength to shove Luc Minh and To Nhuoc into the elevator.
**BOOM!**
The doors slammed shut.
The elevator plummeted at terrifying speed.
Through the gap between the doors.
Luc Minh only had time to see...
The man being swallowed by darkness.
## Dawn
When the elevator doors opened.
The three of them had returned to the first floor.
The hospital had returned to its former state of desolation.
There was no white hallway.
No Room 13.
And no 13th Floor.
As if it had all been a dream.
To Nhuoc checked the camera.
Of the hundreds of photos taken that night.
Only one remained unerased.
It was a photograph of Luc Minh holding the purple talisman.
Behind him.
A man in a Taoist robe stood silently.
His face had become completely clear.
But what made both of them go cold was...
That face looked **seventy percent** like Luc Minh's.
At the bottom corner of the photograph.
A line of bloody writing slowly appeared.
> **"Come to the Maoshan ruins before the night of the blood moon."**
Far away, atop the mountain.
A man with a **black hand** silently gazed toward the hospital.
Ha Van Son slightly furrowed his brow.
"At last..."
"...you've appeared."
"Senior martial brother."
