# She Returned: Billionaire & System Blue Reaper
## Chapter 3: The First Mission
Mentona ran toward the forest without looking back.
The rain grew heavier.
Lightning flashed across the dark sky, revealing twisted trees and thick fog.
The little girl's cries became louder.
"Please... somebody help me..."
Mentona followed the voice until she reached an old wooden bridge.
Under the bridge, she saw a little girl trapped between broken logs. The water beneath was rising rapidly.
Without thinking twice, Mentona climbed down.
"It's okay," she said softly. "I'm here."
The little girl looked terrified.
"Sister... I'm scared..."
Mentona smiled despite her exhaustion.
"Don't worry. I'll take you home."
Just as she reached for the girl...
**Ding!**
A blue screen appeared before her.
> **Warning!** > > **Host's life is in danger.**
Mentona looked up.
A huge tree, weakened by the storm, was beginning to fall toward them.
She froze.
There was no way she could move fast enough.
Suddenly...
The Blue Reaper System activated automatically.
A brilliant blue light covered her body.
**[Emergency Skill Activated.]**
**Blue Dash – Level 1**
For three seconds, Mentona felt unbelievably light.
She grabbed the little girl and jumped away.
**Boom!!**
The giant tree crashed onto the bridge.
If they had been one second slower...
Both of them would have died.
The little girl hugged Mentona tightly and began crying.
"Thank you... Sister..."
Mentona gently patted her head.
"It's alright. You're safe now."
A few minutes later, the girl's parents arrived with several villagers.
When they saw their daughter alive, they burst into tears.
Her mother fell to her knees before Mentona.
"You saved our daughter..."
"We can never repay this kindness."
Mentona smiled faintly.
"I only did what anyone should do."
The system chimed again.

Her hands trembled.
"This... this is real..."
She looked up at the brightening sky.
For the first time in years...
She smiled from the bottom of her heart.
"The girl everyone abandoned..."
"...will return."
"And one day..."
"Everyone who looked down on me will regret it."
Far away...
Inside her step-parents' house...
They were peacefully sleeping.
Neither of them knew...
That the homeless girl they had thrown out...
Had just taken her first step toward becoming the world's most powerful billionaire.
