At thirty-three, brilliant orthopaedic surgeon Paul has built his life around absolute control. His immaculate apartment, prestigious career, and carefully arranged engagement leave no room for disorder. Then Alice, a rebellious twenty-five-year-old artist, moves into the apartment directly above him. With her deafening music, chaotic paintings, and provocative disregard for boundaries, she begins dismantling everything he has spent years protecting. What starts as a bitter neighbourly feud becomes a dangerous attraction neither can suppress. But Alice is struggling to escape the influence of Nick, her wealthy and manipulative former lover, while Paul remains trapped by his powerful mother's expectations and a marriage he never truly chose. As obsession, jealousy, and forbidden desire collide, both must decide whether surrendering control will finally set them free or destroy the fragile lives they have built.
