In the beginning, Althea was just living an ordinary life. She was never one to go looking for trouble, much less interfere in things she didn't understand. But everything shifted one night when she heard a cry that seemed to come from nowhere. The sound kept coming back, gradually drawing Althea into a chain of strange, secret-laden events. In this first season, Althea sets out to discover who, or what, is really behind the cry. Every clue she finds only brings more questions. Through fear and confusion, Althea has to learn to confront a past that is slowly surfacing, including secrets the people close to her have kept hidden for years. Althea's journey is not only about finding answers. It is also about understanding her own feelings, accepting loss, and finding the courage to face something she has avoided for so long. As several new people enter her life, Althea starts to see that the cry may not be an ordinary sound at all, but a message someone is trying to deliver. The deeper she digs, the nearer Althea comes to a truth that could change her life forever.
