Senja fell silent for a long time. She felt betrayed, but at the same time, she understood the reason behind his deception. She looked into Dirgantara's eyes. There was no arrogance or pretense there—only a sincere gaze filled with remorse.
"You hid your true identity... so I wouldn't love you because of your wealth?" Senja asked softly, her voice trembling.
Dirgantara nodded slowly. "I wanted to be loved as Dirgantara—the man who sits with you, listens to your stories, and admires the sincerity in your heart. Not as the CEO who has everything. Because I'm certain wealth can run out, but a sincere heart will never change, even if the entire world changes completely."
Senja drew a long breath, trying to calm her unsteady heartbeat. Slowly, she began to realize the good intentions behind his concealment. The man before her wasn't someone who flaunted his wealth. He was actually afraid of being loved for things that were only temporary.
"I'm not angry," Senja said at last. "I just need some time... to get used to this reality."
"However long you need, I'll wait," Dirgantara replied gently but firmly. "As long as you don't tell me to leave."
