Neo and Diana left the room.
They walked toward the house's main room.
A middle-aged man was already waiting there. The moment he saw Neo come out of the room, his gaze fixed on him.
The man was Diana's father.
Beside him, a woman who was Diana's mother sat watching Neo with keen curiosity.
Neo stopped a few steps away from them.
Diana's father spoke first.
"So you're finally awake."
Neo nodded slowly.
"Yeah..."
Diana's father studied him for a moment before speaking again.
"Diana has already told us everything."
He leaned back slightly in his chair.
"But there's still one thing I want to ask you."
His gaze grew more serious.
"How did you end up at the Ancient Sacred House?"
Neo fell silent.
There was no way he could answer that question.
"I..."
Neo lowered his head.
"I don't know."
Diana's father did not answer right away.
Diana, standing beside Neo, looked at her father.
"Dad..."
Diana's father turned to her.
Diana hesitated for a moment before finally asking,
"Could this have something to do with that old woman's prophecy?"
The moment the word prophecy was mentioned, the room suddenly fell even quieter.
Diana's father was silent.
His expression showed uncertainty.
"Who knows..."
He let out a long sigh.
"It might be connected."
Diana's eyes widened.
"So... the prophecy might be true?"
Diana's father slowly shook his head.
"I'm not sure either."
He looked at Neo.
"The old woman has long been considered crazy by the villagers."
Diana's father sighed again.
"She often says strange, nonsensical things."
Diana fell silent.
She still looked curious.
"What kind of strange things?"
Before her father could answer, Diana's mother spoke up.
"Your father is right, Diana."
The woman gazed gently at her daughter.
"Maybe it's all just a fairy tale told by an old woman."
Neo said nothing as he listened to their conversation.
But one thing kept echoing in his mind.
The prophecy...
He had no idea what the prophecy said.
Yet for some reason, ever since he awoke in this world, everything people said seemed to be connected to him.
Especially one thing.
The Demon King.
Neo slowly clenched his fists.
If there really was something connecting him to all of this...
He wanted to find the answer.
But for now, even he still didn't know who he really was.
