Crash!
The sound of shattering glass echoed through the air. Dozens, even hundreds, of nightclub patrons screamed hysterically when one of them saw a long-haired woman beat a fifty-year-old man so badly he was left sprawled on the floor. The man lay there with a bruised cheek and clear fluid trickling from the corner of his mouth. He coughed.
Several pairs of eyes immediately turned toward the woman. She was tall and slender, her long, straight black hair hanging loose over her shoulders and spilling forward. The music stopped at once. The woman straightened and swept her long hair back, revealing a beautiful, perfectly shaped nose. Her eyes were as fierce as a man's. She just happened to be a woman.
Just as the woman clenched her fist again, the fifty-year-old man suddenly raised both hands.
"Please..."
The woman's fist stopped in midair. Her sharp eyes fixed on the fat man. Her teeth clenched furiously, and her breath came in ragged bursts. Anger throbbed at her bruised temple.
Only after realizing that she had become the center of attention did the woman pull her hand back. Her grip slowly loosened, as if she were holding back the flames of her still-raging fury. Finally, she let go of the man's collar and straightened again. She fixed both of her disheveled collars, patting them as though dust had settled there.
"Next time, find a woman you can buy cheaply, sir. Your mistake tonight was thinking I was one of them," the woman muttered.
Several pairs of eyes stared at the beautiful woman they had initially assumed was weak. It turned out her strength was equal to a man's. In fact, among the people there, several stood gaping with their mouths hanging open.
But Raya Hardinata wouldn't be Raya Hardinata if she cared about something so trivial. After beating the sleazy predator who had tried to harass her, the woman immediately left the place. Unbeknownst to her, several cameras were already ready to photograph her from every angle.
"That's... Raya Hardinata, isn't it? Mr. Hardinata's granddaughter, the CEO of Adikara Corp?"
The statement and question together sent a shock through the nightclub and everyone in it. They couldn't believe that the Hardinatas' eldest grandchild could be inside a nightclub, beating up a sleazy predator.
"Oh, right, she's Raya Hardinata. Mr. Hardinata's eldest grandchild," someone else added.
"That's terrifying, isn't it? A rich kid acting like a thug?"
"And her grandfather's such a respected figure. How could his granddaughter be in a place like this?"
"I heard that woman is always switching men. Maybe she came here looking for a potential partner."
All kinds of speculation spread through the public. Eventually, the news reached Hardinata, the man most respected for his wealth.
"Raya's really gone too far. No wonder she hardly ever comes home," the older man muttered after reading the newspaper Siska, his daughter-in-law, had given him that morning. He folded the paper, then tossed it carelessly onto the table.
Seeing her father's reaction, Vivi couldn't hide her pleased expression. Instead, she added, "You spoil her too much, Dad. Now she's become spoiled."
Hardinata didn't answer. Then, at last, a Ninja motorcycle entered the spacious front yard. A full-face helmet concealed the rider's face, making Vivi fall silent.
All their eyes turned toward the newcomer. They waited to see who was behind the helmet—the person whose arrival had made everyone watching unable to look away.
The figure raised a hand and held it to their head. Just as the figure removed the helmet...
