That morning, Raka Aditama noticed something different. Behind the gym, several students were surrounding Arkan. His bag had fallen to the ground, and his books were scattered everywhere.
But before things could get worse, a teacher arrived. "That's enough! Everyone, back to class."
The students immediately backed away.
Watching from a distance, Raka assumed the teacher was going to put a stop to everything.
He was wrong.
Instead, the teacher gathered the students involved in an empty room. "From now on, no one talks about what happened here."
One of the students asked, "But, sir..."
"No buts."
The teacher closed the door. "Arkan doesn't need to file a report either."
"Why not?"
The teacher sighed. "Because the school doesn't need any new problems."
Standing outside, Raka heard part of the conversation.
A few minutes later, the students filed out one by one.
Arkan was the last to leave.
His head hung low.
Raka approached him. "Are you okay?"
Arkan only nodded.
But Raka saw his hands trembling. "Did that teacher tell you to keep quiet?"
Arkan didn't answer.
That answer was enough.
Raka stared at the room's closed door.
So it wasn't just the students who knew.
Some of the teachers knew what had happened, too.
And they had chosen to cover it up.
At the far end of the corridor, Alexander Gavin Wibawa walked toward them.
He stopped beside Raka. "Don't meddle too much."
Raka turned to him. "Why?"
Alexander stared at the closed door. "Because there are things at Zenith Warriors that are safer left unknown."
Raka looked at him for several seconds. "Including bullying?"
Alexander didn't answer.
He simply walked away.
Raka looked at the door again.
Now he was even more certain.
The problem at Zenith Warriors wasn't just students who liked to bully others.
There was something bigger.
And someone was making sure it all stayed hidden.
