If someone told you that stepping into a deadly world could earn you enough prize money to change your life— Would you go? Su Nian did. Because she was broke. There was rent due, a life to get through, and a heap of problems she couldn't escape. She had no lofty dream of saving the world, and no ambition to be the strongest. She had just one simple wish: Earn enough to buy a place of her own, then relax. So she entered the Infinite-World. Beginner scenario? Cleared. Intermediate scenario? Cleared. Advanced scenario? ...What's the prize money? With a brain that wasn't exactly genius-level, a bit more ruthlessness than most, and one guiding rule—"This girl can't die yet"—Su Nian fought her way up from the bottom ranks of challengers. She thought she was just there to work. Until one day, she heard the name no challenger dared speak— The Boss of the Final Stage. No one knew what he looked like. No one knew how strong he truly was. They only knew... Not a single person who had entered the Final Stage had ever come back alive. Su Nian: "What does that have to do with me? I'm not going." What she didn't know was that from the moment she first stepped into a scenario, the being seated on the highest throne had been watching her. Watching her come within inches of death again and again. Watching her pull herself back up again and again. Watching her curse the System while clinging to every chance to survive. Until one day. Su Nian finally stood before that throne. The man looked down at her. In his pale golden eyes there was none of the indifference he had shown every other challenger. Only an emotion she couldn't understand at all. "You've finally come." Su Nian: "?" "Do we know each other?" The man looked at her, the corners of his lips lifting slightly. "No." "I've known you for a very long time." Su Nian suddenly had a bad feeling. She'd only wanted to buy a house. How had the Boss ended up trying to take over her life, too?
