Bhagya. Can you... can you hear me? It was Aanvi. Her voice floated through his mind like an echo.
Aanvi! Don't give up! Where are you? Try to recognize the restraints of your body again! Bhagya sent her a mental message.
I can't come back, Bhagya, even if I want to. Everything here is flowing like data and light. I can see everything clearly. This device wasn't a scientific mistake—it was a bridge. The Orbs don't want to shut it down; they want to expand it so they can convert every living atom in our world into binary code and enslave it. I've found the final part of the World Balance Spell, but activating it will require this consciousness of mine to burn away completely.
Bhagya's heart trembled. No. There would be no such sacrifice. Human life isn't made of bricks and stone or data alone; it's made of emotions. Stay there. I'm coming inside to get you!
Don't be crazy, Bhagya! This technology is beyond your understanding! Aanvi's soul screamed. Look outside—the entire city is burning to ash! If you don't destroy me and this device right now, no one will live to see tomorrow's sun.
Bhagya opened his eyes and looked at Neelima. Neelima, can you activate Astral Data Sync mode? I have to project my consciousness inside that server.
Neelima's eyes went wide. Sir, that's a straight-up invitation to death! If the connection between your body and consciousness breaks, the Orbs will erase you halfway there!
Bhagya touched his Rudraksha Amulet with a faint smile. Set your fear aside, Neelima. As your Ma'am used to say—today is the day we change history. Just remember one thing: if I don't return within three minutes, blow up this entire lab in atomic mode without thinking twice. Saving the city is our priority.
With a heavy heart and trembling hands, Neelima pressed the Enter button. A searing blue laser struck Bhagya's forehead, and he collapsed lifelessly onto the floor. Now there were two limp bodies in the lab—and one terrified Neelima, all alone.
Inside that digital hell of consciousness, Bhagya saw Aanvi trapped in a vast binary net. The Orb Leader circled her like a vulture, draining away her magical radiance. So, the guardian has come walking straight in to meet his own doom, the Orb Leader roared with laughter.
Bhagya forged a divine sword with his willpower. I've heard that beings like you Orbs fear only the primordial mantra that echoed with the first ray of creation. Did you recognize it in this device's code?
Aanvi weakly raised her virtual head. Bhagya... that code. It's the digital frequency of Om. If we reprogram it in the correct rhythm, the Void will automatically contract and shut itself down.
Bhagya ran forward and clasped Aanvi's hand. Come on. We'll see this through together—the logic of science and the unbreakable power of tantra.
But Bhagya... Aanvi looked deeply into his eyes, sorrow weighing on her face. The system is warning that only one existence can remain—either magic or science. Balance may also mean the end of one of them.
With unwavering faith, Bhagya said, We'll create a third path, Aanvi. We'll call it the Great Convergence. You write the code's script, and I'll recite the life-force mantra. Our souls have to align to a single frequency.
The two of them gripped each other's hands tightly. Outside the lab, Neelima saw the Infinity Device's terrifying temperature begin to fall from 4,200 degrees to normal. It's happening! A miracle is happening! she cried happily—but at that moment, an Orb smashed through the lab's bulletproof glass and lunged straight at Neelima.
Neelima didn't lose her nerve. She grabbed an energy discharge gun from beside her and fired at the Orb. Ma'am! Sir! Hurry! I can't hold them back much longer!
Beyond the Void, Bhagya and Aanvi poured out all their spiritual energy. Glowing golden Sanskrit letters and purple binary zeroes and ones merged in the air, creating a new divine language.
Entry granted. World Balance restored, a deep mechanical voice echoed.
A thunderous milky-white light engulfed all of Omega City. It was so pure and overwhelming that every Orb turned into clouds of ash and scattered into the air. The rifts in space-time began healing on their own. The sky gradually returned to its normal color.
When Bhagya and Aanvi opened their eyes, they were back on the lab floor. Their bodies were battered and weak, but they were both alive. Aanvi drew a long, deep breath and felt the air brush against her skin. She couldn't hold back her emotions any longer and began to sob.
Bhagya placed a hand on her trembling shoulder. It's all right, Aanvi. Balance has been restored.
Aanvi got up and looked out the window. The city was quiet now, but the lights scattered across its streets seemed different—there was a strange spirituality in them. Bhagya, we stopped this apocalypse, but what about that final digital message? “Version Two Uploading.”
Bhagya's face grew serious as he looked at the debris scattered outside. It's clear what that means, Aanvi. We've won only one battle. The real fight has just begun. The enemy is no longer outside us; it has taken root inside our data and our consciousness. We'll have to stay even more vigilant now.
Neelima came over and helped both of them to their feet. Ma'am, can we go back now? Is it all over? she asked innocently.
Was “Version Two” just an update—or the birth of an even more dangerous power?
Did Aanvi and Bhagya's Great Convergence truly restore balance—or did it open the door to a new destruction?
Are the Orbs really gone—or will they hide inside human consciousness and attack from within?
What Aanvi saw in that digital void—was it a glimpse of the future, or the beginning of a massive deception?
Is Bhagya's soul still completely safe—or did part of it become trapped in that “Astral Data”?
