Chapter 4: The Room Without Locks

🔒 This chapter is locked · 20 Quills

Aleah was never supposed to survive. Rescued from an Exterminator laboratory as a child, she was given a new life by Levi, an Oceanian who refused to abandon her. Her memories of the laboratory are gone, sealed away along with the answers to questions she's never dared to ask. She doesn't remember what the Exterminators did to her. She doesn't remember why they wanted her. She only knows that someone is determined to make sure she never finds out. As old enemies emerge from the shadows and a forgotten conspiracy begins to surface, the scars of Aleah's past refuse to stay buried.
