Chapter 22: New Participant

🔒 This chapter is locked · 20 Quills

Since his wife's death in a tragic accident, David's life has never been the same. A few hours before the accident, they had a terrible argument. Angry and in tears, his wife left the house. David let her go. Ever since that night, one sentence has haunted him. If only I'd stopped her that night... The guilt made David lose himself. Therapy, medication, and every attempt to make peace with the past never truly healed the wound inside him. Until one day, he discovered a trauma-healing retreat on the slopes of a remote mountain. The place was called Sanctuary.
