Leo didn't blink as he stared at Reno standing in front of him.
Until now, Reno's name had only ever appeared as a shadow.
Someone people talked about.
Raka's close friend.
A missing person.
Someone who might be a traitor.
And now that person was standing right in front of him.
"You're different from what I imagined."
Reno's words made Leo frown.
"What do you mean?"
Reno gave a small smile.
"Raka always said his little brother was stubborn."
Leo fell silent.
"He talked about me a lot?"
Reno nodded.
"A lot."
"Then why did I never know?"
"Because he wanted you to live a normal life."
Leo let out a quiet laugh.
"Normal?"
He pointed at everything in the room.
"You think my life is still normal?"
Reno didn't answer.
Because he knew Leo was right.
Ever since he found that triangle symbol, Leo's life had changed.
There were no more ordinary days.
He no longer felt the same sense of safety.
"Do you know where Raka is?"
Leo's question immediately turned the mood serious.
Reno stared at him for a long moment.
"I know what happened to him."
"That's not what I asked."
Leo took a step forward.
"I'm asking if he's still alive or not."
Reno was silent.
And that silence made Leo even more anxious.
"Answer me."
Reno finally said,
"I can't be sure."
Leo clenched his fists.
"So all of you have known that was a possibility this whole time?"
Farel tried to speak.
"Leo..."
"No."
Leo looked at them.
"Don't tell me I need to calm down."
Everyone fell silent.
Leo turned to Reno.
"If you're Raka's friend, why did you let everyone search for him without giving them any answers?"
Reno lowered his head for a moment.
"Because Raka was the one who asked me to."
"Asked you to do what?"
"Asked me to disappear."
Leo fell silent.
"Why?"
Reno walked over to the table and set down the folder he had brought.
"Because if I stayed with him, those people would find out about our plan."
"Our plan?"
"Yeah."
Leo watched him closely.
"So you and Raka are still working together?"
Reno nodded.
"Until the very last day."
Naya looked shocked.
"But Raka suspected you."
Reno looked at Naya.
"He had to."
"What do you mean?"
Reno picked up one of the documents.
"Raka knew there was a spy among us."
Leo immediately focused on him.
"Who?"
Reno gave a faint smile.
"That's the problem."
He looked at everyone.
"Even Raka was never sure."
The room fell silent again.
So everyone had been under suspicion this whole time.
Not just Reno.
Not just Damar.
Even the people closest to Raka.
Leo began to understand how his brother thought.
Raka never looked at a problem from just one side.
He always considered every possibility.
"Then why was your name written in the notes as someone under suspicion?" Leo asked.
Reno looked at Raka's notebook, which Leo was carrying.
"Because that was part of the strategy."
Leo furrowed his brow.
"Strategy?"
"Yeah."
"Explain."
Reno took a breath.
"Raka knew someone else might find that notebook."
"And?"
"He deliberately put my name down as someone suspicious."
Leo began to understand.
"So whoever took the notebook would believe it?"
Reno nodded.
"Exactly."
Farel looked thoughtful.
"So Raka set a trap."
"Yes."
Naya stared at Reno.
"Then who was the real traitor?"
Reno was silent.
The question left everyone waiting.
"I don't know."
That answer irritated Leo.
"After all this, you're still saying you don't know?"
Reno looked at Leo.
"Because I really don't know."
"Then what's the point of all this?"
Reno pointed at Raka's notebook.
"The point is to keep anyone searching for the truth thinking."
Leo said nothing.
Reno then handed him the folder he had brought.
"This is the last part."
Leo took it.
"What's this?"
"Raka's final strategy notes."
"Why do you have them?"
"Because Raka entrusted them to me."
Leo opened the folder.
Inside were several pages.
They were different from the previous writing.
This time, there were drawings.
Names.
And lines showing the connections between people.
Leo examined everything.
Until his eyes stopped at one section.
A circled name.
Arman Pratama.
His father.
Leo immediately looked at Reno.
"Why does my dad's name keep showing up?"
Reno didn't answer right away.
"Because your father is the key."
"The key to what?"
"To uncovering why Raka made this strategy."
Leo grew even more confused.
"So Dad is involved?"
Reno looked at him.
"Yes."
"As an enemy?"
Reno shook his head.
"Not necessarily."
"Then as what?"
"As the person who holds the biggest secret."
Leo fell silent.
That night, they all returned to their respective homes.
But Leo's thoughts wouldn't stop.
Dad.
Raka.
Reno.
Damar.
All those names were like pieces of an incomplete puzzle.
The next day, Leo decided to find out for himself.
He didn't go straight to his father.
He wanted to see if there was something that had been hidden from him all this time.
After school, Leo followed his father.
He had never done that before.
But now he felt he had no choice.
His father stopped at an old building.
Leo parked some distance away.
From afar, he saw his father meet someone.
Someone who immediately shocked Leo.
Damar.
They talked for quite a while.
Leo tried to move closer.
But before he could hear their conversation, someone stood behind him.
"Don't go any farther."
Leo spun around.
Reno was standing there.
"You followed me?"
"No."
"Then what?"
"I followed your father."
Leo stared at him.
"Why?"
Reno looked toward Damar and Leo's father.
"Because tonight, you're going to see something that will change the way you look at your family."
Leo looked back at them.
His father handed a small object to Damar.
Something that looked like a memory card.
Leo held his breath.
"What is that?"
Reno answered quietly,
"The final piece of Raka's strategy."
Leo stared at the object.
And for the first time, he felt...
Maybe Raka hadn't been the one arranging the game all along.
Maybe Raka had already known the game would be passed on to him.
