To Raka Mahendra, a silver medal has always meant losing while everyone claps. When he finishes second in a campus competition, his prize is a secondhand trophy, and it clearly belonged to someone else. Beneath the fresh nameplate is the name of Ardi Pratama, a student who died after years of bitterness over always coming second. Once the trophy is in Raka's house, everything starts to crumble. His parents edge toward divorce, misfortune piles up out of nowhere, and no matter how many times he throws the trophy away, it keeps returning. Then a whisper begins in his ear: "Not yours." To break the curse, Raka must learn how Ardi really died and whether that long-ago victory was stolen, before he becomes the next casualty. Some people would rather die than lose, and some would wreck everything so that nobody wins.
