Daisy is simply a timid, quiet girl who would rather stay in the background than be in the spotlight. For her, being alone is calming—much better than joining conversations that fizzle into uncomfortable silence. Everything shifts when Ferry Astara, a well-known popular boy, transfers to her school. Suddenly, she becomes the target of hostile glares from his admirers. Then one day, Daisy accidentally witnesses something she was never supposed to see. Beneath Ferry's warm smile and flawless manners lies a side of him he has never revealed to anyone. Now Daisy is stuck guarding Ferry's secret—and it's more than she can manage. She wants to keep her distance, but instead she's pulled further into Ferry's mysterious world. Is his fake persona just a matter of image control? Or are there deeper reasons behind it?
