He died struck by a car on his way home from school. In the Tunnel between life and death, his soul crashed into that of a cowardly demon executed by its own kind. They didn't fuse. They didn't become one. They just ended up bolted together, imperfect, each keeping their own mind, each loathing every second they must share a breath. The accident hurled them into a world ravaged by the Eternal War. Here, human soldiers revive over and over in closed loops, dying every day to learn how to kill demons. No one ever breaks out of a loop. No one ever has. Until them. Now they roam a world that has no idea what to do with them. Humans want to dissect them. Demons want them dead. And the loops themselves flicker when they pass, as if the world can't figure out how to erase something that never should have existed. This isn't a story about becoming the strongest. It's the story of two cowards stuck in one body, bickering about everything while the entire world tries to kill them. They have no powers. They aren't chosen ones. They have only one thing no one else does: Two people who know exactly what it's like to be afraid. --- Dark fantasy, mystery, and psychological action.
