Zico hurried up the stairs toward his room. He had to make sure of Nara's condition. Nara couldn't die so easily, just as she wished. He had to make her feel the same suffering he had endured when he was nineteen.
"Open up!" Zico shouted as he pounded on his bedroom door.
Nara, still kneeling behind the door, jolted in surprise. She recognized that voice.
"That demon... he's here," she muttered.
"You little mouse, I said open up! Or I'll break this door down!"
Nara shot to her feet when she heard Zico's voice rise. She slowly backed away, trying to find a way to stop Zico from forcing the door open. Nara still wasn't ready to face that man, especially if Zico wanted to claim his rights as her husband.
"N-no, I-I don't want to open the door," Nara muttered, but Zico could still hear her.
"Looks like you don't take my words seriously. Fine, I won't hold back anymore!"
Zico's patience had apparently run out. With one powerful kick, he smashed the door open.
Crash!
The door flew open. Nara screamed in shock and covered her face with both hands.
"Very clever. Are you pretending to be dead by not making a single sound? Do you really want to hurry up and join your family?!"
Nara began trembling in terror again at Zico's cruel words.
Zico slammed the door shut, then walked toward Nara, who looked more frightened with every step he took. In her mind, Nara imagined every possible thing Zico might do to her.
Nara was truly terrified. If she had a choice, she would honestly rather join her parents and younger sibling. But that was impossible. The demon standing before her would never let her die—unless Zico himself sent her to meet her family.
"D-don't come any closer!" she managed to say.
But Zico paid no attention to anything Nara said. He continued approaching the woman with a sharp stare. Just that look alone made Nara feel as though she had been pierced straight through.
As soon as he reached her, Zico pulled Nara into his arms.
Nara tried to push him away with all her strength, but every effort was useless. Zico's arm wrapped around her waist far too tightly. With her small, delicate body, Nara struggled to match Zico's strength.
The man brought his face close to Nara's. The flames of anger were unmistakable in his eyes.
"Didn't I tell you yesterday? Today, I'll show you what real pain feels like. So get ready!"
Nara's eyes widened at the terrifying words that came out of Zico's mouth. Her hands, still pressed against his chest, felt cold and began to tremble. Her mind was filled with images of what Zico would do to her. How terrible would the pain he gave her be?
Zico then released Nara and looked her up and down. He flashed a vicious grin when he saw that she was still wearing her wedding dress.
"So you're still wearing this? Do you like this wedding dress that much? Or is it because it's white, so you think it's suitable for mourning your family's deaths?"
Tears streamed down Nara's cheeks before she could stop them. No matter how hard she tried to hold back her sobs, the fear in her heart had overwhelmed her defenses. The man before her was truly as terrifying as a demon.
"Tsk... tsk... This isn't the right time for you to shed tears. You should save them for the right moment, shouldn't you?"
For some reason, Zico's words only made Nara's heart pound faster. She had no idea what he was actually going to do to her.
Nara jolted when Zico suddenly yanked her by the hand and threw her onto the bed. Just like before, her body bounced onto the large mattress.
Zico immediately took off his jacket and unbuttoned his shirt. Nara was even more shocked when she saw that every button had been undone, revealing his sturdy chest.
Zico truly had an incredibly handsome face. His skin was fair, his eyes were light brown, his nose was straight, and his tall, solid body was covered in perfectly defined muscles. He was the kind of ideal husband many women dreamed of. In fact, countless women desired him.
But to Nara, none of that perfection meant anything. In her eyes, Zico was nothing more than the demon who had slaughtered her family. No more and no less.
Slowly, Zico began moving toward Nara. Tonight, he was ready to torment the little mouse before him.
"D-don't!" Nara kept scooting away from Zico. But Zico wasn't going to let her go that easily. He actually enjoyed it more when the woman before him continued to resist, because that meant she would suffer even more.
"Woman, unfortunately, I don't want to hear any refusals tonight," he said.
Zico seized Nara's hand and roughly tore the wedding dress she was wearing.
Nara immediately covered her body with both hands once Zico had ripped her dress.
"D-don't, please." Nara still tried to stop Zico. She truly wasn't ready to surrender her innocence to that man. Even though Zico was now legally her husband, Nara still couldn't accept him as her husband.
Zico ignored Nara's pleas again. Instead, he grabbed both of the hands she was using to protect her body. No matter how hard Nara fought to keep them there, she couldn't match Zico's strength. Her small body made it even harder to resist the broad-shouldered, athletic man.
Zico managed to pull Nara's hands away from her body, then immediately kissed her lips roughly. He forced Nara's lips open so his tongue could explore every inch of her beautiful mouth.
Zico gave Nara no room even to breathe, until she felt unbearably suffocated.
Nara tried to push Zico away and break their kiss, but the man still refused to release his hold on her lips.
Not willing to give up, Nara pounded her fists against Zico's broad chest, finally managing to make him break the kiss.
Nara gasped for breath the moment she was free of Zico's lips. But she had barely managed to inhale when Zico attacked her again. He kissed Nara brutally once more, but this time he didn't stop at her lips. He kissed her entire body, leaving red marks in his wake.
"Ahhh, it hurts! It hurts!" Nara cried, sobbing as clear tears spilled from the corners of her eyes when she felt the impact of Zico's hardness against her own.
Nara felt pain not only in her lower abdomen but also in her heart, because her innocence had been stolen by a husband she neither wanted nor was wanted by.
Zico tormented Nara throughout the entire night. He didn't release her for even a second, stopping only when he himself was satisfied.
That night, Zico paid no attention whatsoever to the tears and moans escaping Nara's mouth. Instead, he whispered something that made Nara's heart ache even more.
"Listen, little mouse! You're nothing more than my bed toy. You have no right to refuse me, because your only job is to serve me as well as you can in bed."
