CHLORINE AND ALMOST LOVE

Sixteen-year-old Veronica Parker moves to a new town following her family's financial struggles, only to be paired up as a swim partner with Archie - the arrogant, cold captain of the high school swim team who is under immense pressure from his father, a former athlete with unfulfilled dreams. When Archie secretly 'plays the part' of a dedicated team mate in front of a college recruiter to protect his image, Veronica accidentally uncovers the charade and feels deeply betrayed. Forced to confront what is genuine and what is merely a performance, the two must push past their hurt and work together to prepare for the summer's most critical qualifying meet, one that will define both of their futures
