Fireproof Footsteps

Two undercover agents move through the same corrupt system from opposite ends of it, each leaving footsteps meant to vanish the moment anyone looks too closely. Their war against corruption is fought in the small, deniable spaces no official investigation ever reaches: forged paperwork, borrowed identities, favors that can never be called in twice. Every step they take risks exposing not just their mission but each other, and the people they're protecting will never know how close the whole operation came to burning down around them. Fireproof is the word they use for the plan. Whether they can actually live up to it, step by careful step, is the story worth watching unfold.
