Seed of Life in the Dead Zone is a dark fantasy progression story about an outcast who turns the place meant to kill him into the foundation of an empire.
Born without the natural spiritual power expected of his people, a young forest elf has spent his life treated as defective. His only wish is to prove his worth and protect the few people who still believe in him. But when a gifted member of his tribe manipulates him into a forbidden act, he is branded a threat and cast into the Mist Abyss, a poisoned wasteland from which no one is expected to return.
Death, however, awakens something entirely different.
A mysterious biological farming system gives him the ability to cultivate mutated plants, tame monsters, transform toxins into powerful resources, and connect living organisms through an expanding underground network. What begins as a desperate struggle for survival gradually becomes an ecological empire hidden beneath the civilised world.
As his power grows, so does his reach. Roots become spies. Monsters become soldiers. Poison becomes medicine. The magical waste discarded by the powerful becomes the resource that allows the powerless outcast to surpass them.
But revenge is only the beginning.
When war spreads across the continent and forces beyond the known world begin disturbing the natural order itself, the young exile must evolve from survivor to ruler and ultimately decide what kind of world will grow from the ruins of the old one.
