She Rose Through Learning

In the seaside town of Serena Village, Clara spends her days shelving books at Thomas's old bookstore and drawing covers for stories she never lets herself write. When Lucas, a quiet schoolteacher who writes poems for no one, comes looking for a forgotten poetry collection, their hands meet on the same book, and soon he is reading every afternoon in the shop's back armchair. As they trade notebooks and confidences, both must find the courage to say what neither has dared to put into words.
