The Forward's Dance

After freezing on set point in the provincial final, outside hitter Yuta Tobi takes the blame and wonders why he still plays volleyball. Then a letter summons him to Project Striker Ballet, a ruthless program that pits three hundred egotistical players against one another for a place on Japan's U-20 team and bans the losers from the pro game for life. Placed on last-ranked Team Z, Yuta must learn to keep up with Waga Takemeru, a merciless setter who gives attackers the set they deserve, not the one they need.
