When Dawn Finally Breaks

Twenty-four-year-old Azzam is stuck on his thesis in Bandung, still living off his mother, Salmah, a seamstress who keeps putting off seeing a doctor about her worsening cough. One rainy night at the mosque at the end of the alley he meets Sheikh Abdullah, whose quiet counsel helps him start rebuilding his faith and his life. As he finally faces his thesis advisor and his duties at home, Azzam must also learn to guard his heart when he begins to admire Naila Humaira, a reserved Quran teacher at the mosque.
