Where Citrus Flowers Bloom Behind Schedule

On Haneul Island in the winter of 1968, ten-year-old Han Seo Rin watches her mother dive into the freezing sea each dawn and dreams of the world beyond the water. A secondhand notebook becomes the place where she records everything beautiful about island life, and beneath an old tangerine tree she meets Kang Do Hyun, a quiet boy who shares a fallen tangerine with her and a promise to meet again. That small afternoon begins a bond that will follow them both for years to come.
