Where the Garden Begins

An eight-year marketer throws in her resignation after burning out. With her severance pay in hand, Eun-chae heads to her grandmother’s country guesthouse, where she spent every school vacation running wild as a child. There, she comes face-to-face with her grandmother, who is ready to give up running the place because of her aching knees, and a granddaughter who has nowhere else to go. “Just plant them and keep an eye on them.” At her grandmother’s simple words, Eun-chae plants seeds with clumsy hands, cooks with what grows in the kitchen garden, and begins taking in guests one by one.
