Episode 5: The Eleventh Clause

🔒 This episode is locked · 20 Quills

Banished by a wax seal that bars him from home forever, fourteen-year-old Tasso Vereil has sixty days to claim a new name or die. His only weapon is stamp-magic—three uses left, one clause, one year each. In the forgotten frontier village of Hak-Ulm, he finds an unspent clause in the tax ledger that could make him its lord. But Hak-Ulm sits on the silver his family plans to steal, and his older brother is immune to his seal.
