“Thank you!” Liana exclaimed happily. Only after getting what she wanted could Liana finally act a little friendlier toward Razel.
“Hopefully, with the Goddess Light Flower by your side, your memories will return soon,” Razel murmured as Liana left.
Liana finally opened her eyes. When she looked out the window, she realized it was already dark. Then, when she tried to move her hand, Liana realized that she had actually brought the flower into the real world.
Liana checked the necklace Razel had given her earlier, and sure enough, it was still draped beautifully around her neck.
“So that dream wasn’t a coincidence after all,” Liana murmured, feeling as though she was finally getting some answers.
While Liana was still marveling at what she had just learned, Ami arrived with Rinjani and Denis.
“Liana, you’re awake!” Ami cried, running toward her.
“Why are Dad and Mom here, Mi?” Liana asked, confused.
“I called your mom because you were asleep and wouldn’t wake up,” Rinjani explained anxiously.
“Hehe, sorry, Mom. I was exhausted!” Liana said defensively.
“All right, then. Come on, let’s go home!”
“Wait, Mom. I want to show Ami this flower first.”
“Flower?” Ami asked, confused.
“Yeah, a flower. This one in my hand! How can you not see it?” Liana said, holding her hand out in front of Ami.
“There’s no flower in your hand, Liana!” Ami replied.
Rinjani and Denis exchanged glances. “You’re not holding anything, honey,” Rinjani added.
“What’s wrong with all of you? How can you not see such a beautiful flower?” Liana snapped, beginning to get annoyed.
The Goddess Light Flower could only be seen by Liana. Ordinary people could not see objects that came from the supernatural world.
“What about this necklace? Can you see it?” Liana asked again.
“There’s no necklace around your neck, Li! You’re talking nonsense. Are you still dreaming?” Ami remarked.
“I’m not talking nonsense! This necklace and flower really are in my hands right now!” Liana felt desperate as she tried to convince both her parents and her best friend.
“Fine, then. Don’t believe me!” Liana said helplessly.
Rinjani and Denis felt that something was wrong with their daughter, so that very night they took Liana to see a psychic.
“Where are we going, Mom?” Liana asked as she was forced to go along to some unknown place.
“We’re going to see one of your father’s acquaintances first,” Rinjani replied.
Liana fell silent and did not ask any more questions. She focused only on watching the Goddess Light Flower in her lap.
“Slow down, Sis, or the water’s going to spill!” Liana complained because Debi was driving rather fast.
Rinjani remained silent as she continued watching Liana, who seemed busy protecting something.
When they arrived at the psychic’s place, Liana got out with Denis and Rinjani. Debi went to park the car first.
They had barely reached the front door when the psychic came outside, his face filled with fear.
“Take that girl away!” the middle-aged man ordered. He was a psychic renowned for his abilities.
“I don’t want anything to do with a source of destruction!” the psychic added, his expression utterly terrified.
“What do you mean, sir? My daughter is not a source of destruction!” Denis immediately stepped in front of Liana, trying to protect his daughter from the absurd accusation.
The middle-aged psychic quickly shook his head. Cold sweat poured down his forehead, and his eyes remained fixed on Liana’s neck and hand, where the necklace and Goddess Light Flower were—things Denis and Rinjani could not see.
“The things she’s carrying... They’re radiating an aura far too powerful for this world! That energy will lure dark creatures from other dimensions here. Go! Before they make this place their target!” the psychic warned, shutting his front door tightly.
“Dad, Mom, let’s just go home. I don’t like this place,” Liana whispered. Her arms tightened around the container of sacred water holding the Goddess Light Flower.
