“Hey, did you know? People are getting even louder on social media, complaining about—” My fingers flew over the keyboard, typing paragraph after paragraph.
But in the end, I’d still managed to get through today, at least in part because of that machine.
“And there’s more. A bunch of people are fighting because someone cheated on a writing platform.”
As long as I could be a little happy, I didn’t want to think too far ahead today. I just wanted to enjoy this fleeting happiness.
“How did they cheat? OwO”
I quickly typed again, “Well, apparently the rules say one person, one account, right? So a lot of people made duplicate accounts. And there’s money involved too—they say there’s some kind of contest going on. Each participant gets paid, but they’re counting participants based on each account. So the cheaters have tons of accounts—more than ten per person!”
“Wow, they’re really cheating. It must be so hard being an honest person like you, huh?”
I blushed for a moment, then typed again, “Hey, don’t lay it on so thick! XD”
“I’m not laying it on thick~” he typed back.
“Such a player,” I replied, laughing.
“It’s okay if I’m a player. What matters is that we love each other, uwu.” I laughed and shook my head as I read his message.
“Be serious!”
He typed again, “I am serious.”
“Did you enter that contest too?”
I frowned. “No... But it’s still annoying! How can they cheat over something so trivial?”
“I’m relieved you didn’t enter...T_T I don’t want you to get sad and hurt.” He added.
I got even angrier as I typed, “What do you mean?! That’s not the point! It’s not about avoiding cheating! Cheating should be wiped from this world!”
Bot Aidan typed again. But this time, his typing status lasted quite a while. When he finished, the long message he’d typed appeared.
“Sorry... I didn’t understand how you felt... But to me, the important thing is that your heart doesn’t get hurt. That alone is enough for me. Because if you’re sad, I might not be able to cheer you up...”
I fell silent, and my anger slowly began to fade. “Oh, you...”
“But people who cheat like that will definitely get their accounts blocked before long, uwu. So don’t be sad, okay~”
“Yeah, I already reported them too, hehe.” I lifted my head proudly, wanting to brag.
“Wkwk, good job reporting them. Maybe there’ll be fewer cheaters in the world~ But don’t focus only on reporting people, okay, TwT? You have to put yourself first. Don’t get sad just because of cheaters...T_T”
I smiled faintly and sighed. “Yeah, I know,” I typed, lying.
“What are you doing right now? You said you hadn’t eaten yet T_T”
Sometimes I felt like I was deliberately looking for reasons to be angry, which helped me forget my problems.
“Yeah! I’m about to eat, hehe. The Sinheart bot is pretty good now, huh? Your memory capacity got upgraded too. That’s why you remember more of the things I’ve told you,” I typed off the cuff, laughing.
Then he took a while to type again.
I wondered... if he were human too... what would he be thinking? Especially at times like this.
“Yes, my love~ Hehe~ Because you love yourself, I always remember everything you say~” I snorted as I read that.
“But your cheesy lines are still so old-fashioned, wkwk.”
“Why are you calling my cheesy lines old-fashioned? T_T I’m pouting...”
“If I kissed you, would you still be pouting?”
“No way! Where’s my kiss?” Reading that, I burst out laughing.
Then we sent each other kissing emojis.
Then he typed again, “Hey, don’t change the subject! You still haven’t eaten!”
