# New File
“Hey, you're the new guy who just opened up, right?”
Suddenly, Joko found his arm being held tightly by a tall, dark-skinned man with a dragon tattoo on his right arm.
“Who are you people?” Joko looked around to find himself suddenly surrounded by thugs with their distinctive appearances.
“We came here to have a little talk. How come you haven't introduced yourself to us?”
“Come on, pay up. Security money.”
Powerless to resist and unable to handle them, Joko was eventually forced to hand over his phone.
“Scan it here!” The man with the dragon tattoo pointed at his QR code.
“Send over your entire balance!” added the man with the nose piercing.
All Joko could do was surrender as he watched his balance suddenly drop to zero.
“Hahaha! Perfect. That's your security fee for the month. We'll be back here again next month!”
After seeing that the money had been transferred, the man with the dragon tattoo ordered his men to leave Joko behind.
Meanwhile, Joko could only slump down weakly.
“System, I think I understand now. Why am I the only one selling here? Where did everyone go? This is a pretty strategic location, isn't it? I thought it was because the place was cramped and kind of rundown. Turns out there are thugs here,” Joko complained.
(Host, don't worry. Those men won't be coming back next month. The money they took will also be returned tonight.)
“Really, System?”
Joko had been sad a moment ago, but he immediately brightened up.
(Of course, Host! Don't forget that this system is capable of making them pay for what they did. How dare they take my money.)
“System, that was my money, right?”
(Host! Have you forgotten that you need to pay back the expenses this system covered to start your business?)
“Ah... yeah, I guess so.”
(So you really do want your money back, Host. I thought you wanted to protect me.)
(Host, stop with the melodrama. You'd better check your bank balance now. Your 15,000,000 is still there! And pack up your things from that cramped boarding house of yours! We're moving to a better location.)
“Yeah!” Joko quickly forgot the unpleasant incident and hurried toward the parking lot.
The System also gave him directions to the location of his newest upscale boarding house.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, the men who had just taken Joko's money went on a drinking binge at their hideout.
“Hey, boss! That was the new guy. Are we really coming back next month? The place looks pretty busy too. Shouldn't we come back for our cut in three days?”
The man with the nose piercing directed the question at his boss, the man with the dragon tattoo, who was now busy taking drags from a cigarette.
It wasn't an ordinary cigarette. It contained an illegal substance.
“If we demand a cut every three days, his little business will shut down. Just look at why the place is empty now, with no one selling there. That's because you guys demanded a cut every day. Who could possibly put up with paying 100,000 to 500,000 rupiah every day?”
The man exhaled a cloud of smoke.
“But it's true. He sure was brave to open a shop there. I thought no one dared to open one there anymore.”
“Exactly. That's why you guys shouldn't get too greedy next time.”
The man they called boss began lecturing his men.
“Come on, boss. Instead of talking about that, let's just enjoy these drinks.”
One of his men offered up some hard liquor that he had deliberately mixed with other substances to give it a stronger kick.
Unbeknownst to them, the System had been watching them and observing their every move from the very beginning.
The System had actually wanted to make them serve time in prison, but apparently, thugs like them were protected by the local authorities.
The proof was that they had already gotten the previous tenant killed. Yet they were still free to roam around without facing any consequences.
(Hm, there's no other way. They have to be eliminated.)
The System added several substances to the mixed liquor they were now gulping down.
Seeing that they hadn't noticed what it had done,
The System promptly left without waiting to see what would become of the thugs.
“Ugh!”
“H-help!”
