Narin looked at Sun sadly. “You shouldn’t have helped me. I don’t want anyone else getting dragged into my problems.”
“Relax. I don’t mind at all. I was thinking about it earlier. Why does Sky keep picking fights with you? You seem like a good person who wouldn’t bother anyone,” Sun said casually.
“I don’t know. I’m confused by his attitude too,” Narin replied with a tired sigh.
“Don’t worry about Sky. If he bothers you again, I’ll protect you and help you. Oh, right—let me introduce myself. My name is Sun. What’s yours?” Sun tried to calm Narin down before inviting him to get acquainted.
“My name is Narin. Thank you for helping me,” Narin replied with a faint smile.
“No problem,” Sun said with a small smile.
“Oh, right. You don’t seem to be a student from the art department. What are you doing in my cafeteria?” Narin asked curiously. This was the first time he had seen Sun in the cafeteria area of his department.
“You’re right. I was looking for a change of scenery for lunch, but instead I got a thrilling show,” Sun replied, still wearing his sweet smile.
“Oh, Narin, have lunch with me today, okay? Just think of it as my introduction to you,” he continued, grabbing Narin’s hand and pulling him out of the infirmary before even hearing whether Narin agreed.
Narin could only resign himself to following. He was already too exhausted from dealing with trouble today. They stopped in the parking lot. Narin looked at Sun curiously.
“Where are we going? The cafeteria is to the west of this building, so why are we heading to the parking lot?”
“You don’t have any more classes this afternoon, right?” Sun asked. Narin nodded in answer. “Then come have lunch with me somewhere else.”
Sun opened his car door and asked Narin to get in. Narin could only go along with it. But suddenly, another passenger slipped into Sun’s car without permission, and Narin tensed up.
“Get out, Leo! Why did you get into my car?” Sun snapped angrily, clearly unhappy to see Leo sitting casually in the back seat.
“I wanted to have lunch with you, baby,” Leo replied flirtatiously, flashing a charming smile. Narin watched the two of them and guessed they must have a special relationship.
“Stop talking like that or get out of my car!” Sun ordered again.
But Leo was stubborn by nature and continued sitting casually in the back. Finally, Sun let out a harsh sigh and started the car.
“Whatever. Have it your way.” Sun had given up.
“Thanks, sweetheart. You can use my card as much as you want later,” Leo said casually.
“Maybe the two of you should just go to lunch together. I’ll go home. I brought my motorcycle today anyway,” Narin said, feeling awkward and afraid that his presence was getting in their way.
“I’ll take you back to campus later. I don’t want to have lunch alone with him.” Sun immediately and firmly rejected Narin’s idea. He glanced at the rearview mirror, looking at Leo, who was grinning teasingly at him.
“You really don’t want to be alone with me? Even though you wouldn’t let me leave you in bed and kept telling me to keep pounding your body,” Leo teased lewdly, making Sun’s face turn bright red with embarrassment.
“Shut your damn mouth!” Sun cursed angrily.
Leo smiled with satisfaction at Sun’s flushed face. Then his gaze shifted to Narin, who had been sitting quietly the whole time.
“Does that hurt?” Leo asked curiously, pointing at Narin’s bruised injury.
“Of course it hurts, idiot! Do you think getting beaten until you’re covered in bruises doesn’t hurt?” Sun answered instead, his voice full of irritation. Narin fell silent again, waiting for them to start arguing like before.
“I know you want to talk to me about plenty of things, but let Narin answer my question, sweetheart.” Leo continued teasing Sun, making the sweet-looking boy glare at him even more irritably.
“It hurts a little, but it’s much better than before because Sun helped treat my wounds,” Narin answered quietly, intervening in their argument.
“Thank goodness. But I liked that insult you threw at him earlier. Sky looked absolutely furious. You know, you’re the first person who’s ever dared to insult him,” Leo said with a pleased smile.
“If I insult him again and he hits me this painfully in return, I’d rather just be insulted and bullied by him,” Narin said helplessly, choosing the other option even though neither choice benefited him, as he responded to Leo. Leo let out a small laugh at his words.
“You’re funny. No wonder Sky likes bullying you,” Leo said with an innocent expression.
“It’s not funny when he makes someone’s life miserable every day,” Sun interjected, rolling his eyes lazily.
“My darling Sun, there isn’t much we can do to fight Sky. You already know what he’s like, don’t you?” Leo said gently, and Sun gave him an unamused look.
“Sky loves only himself. Sky is arrogant, cruel, pushy, and will get whatever he wants,” Sun said, listing Sky’s bad qualities one by one.
“Is he really that awful?” Narin asked innocently. Both of them immediately turned to look at him.
