In 3313, as the world recovers from Monsters that crawled out of cracks in the earth, Vinn Biotech security chief Hexa Lin flies with genius scientist Noah Vinn to a shuttered laboratory on Askja Glacier. Noah believes a strange organism could wipe out the remaining Monsters, but the hunt for a test subject uncovers a killer plant and records of human experiments from three centuries earlier. When the organism proves to be a virus that raises the dead, Hexa must hold back a spreading zombie outbreak.
