Ghost Detectives of Nusantara

All across Indonesia, old legends are starting to slip from human memory. As they fade, the supernatural guardians of Nusantara are losing their power, and the balance between the human and spirit worlds is starting to waver. Four children who have never met are chosen by an ancient compass that once belonged to the legendary explorer Mahesa. Together with a magical bird named Chirp, they form The Nusantara Ghost Detectives Club, a team devoted to solving the mysteries behind Indonesia's ghost stories. On each adventure, they meet beings such as kuntilanak, pocong, genderuwo, wewe gombel, tuyul, leak and orang bunian. But they soon learn that not every ghost is an enemy. Many of them are actually guarding forests, mountains, rivers and cultural heritage that people are starting to forget. Meanwhile, a figure called the Shadow Collector is secretly gathering the powers of supernatural beings to open the Shadow World Gate. If it opens, the boundary between the human and supernatural worlds will disappear. Now only the courage, cleverness and friendship of the four young detectives can stop him.
