I Saw You First

Lily Chen, a junior architect sketching Manhattan's skylines for pleasure, finds herself watched by a stranger on a hidden rooftop, a man who turns out to own the very building she has been drawing without knowing it. As a historic restoration project draws them together, their careful attention to a forgotten crown and a long-hidden ceiling becomes the language through which they fall for each other. What begins as glances across a terrace builds into a slow, deliberate, deeply sensual courtship between two people who realize they were quietly watching the same thing, and each other, long before they ever spoke.
