The Name That Disappeared

One looks for answers through a camera lens; the other captures the world in sound. Photographer Jin Feixun has always trusted pictures as proof that someone was real, until she meets Yan Chuxian at an old cinema slated for demolition, and the two slowly drift into each other's lives. Then Jin Feixun notices Yan Chuxian fading from her photos. Her name drops out of records, memories of her dissolve, and even people who knew her begin forgetting. All evidence insists Yan Chuxian never existed. But Jin Feixun saw her, heard her, remembers every word and every moment by her side. So she starts hunting for a woman the world says was never there.
