Aleah was never supposed to survive. Rescued from an Exterminator laboratory as a child, she was given a new life by Levi, an Oceanian who refused to abandon her. Her memories of the laboratory are gone, sealed away along with the answers to questions she's never dared to ask. She doesn't remember what the Exterminators did to her.
