The Prince's Journey with His Foolish Protector

Born beneath a red-tailed comet with the sun-wheel mark of the Mahaprana on his crown, Prince Arya Aruna of Arcapura is fated to unite Nusantara or plunge it into endless night. At fifteen, the restless prince is smuggled out of the palace in peasant clothes and escorted toward Mount Kelud by three of its academy's worst troublemakers: hot-headed Sakka Geni, flirtatious Bayu Bajra and painfully literal Krisna Tara. With empires, spirit beasts and dark sorcerers all hunting him, Arya must learn to master his power on the road.
