The Rocking Chair of Grandma Ida

Season 1 begins with an ordinary family and an ordinary piece of furniture: Grandma Ida's worn rocking chair, faded and scratched, sitting in the living room for years and prone to rocking at the slightest nudge. Then odd things start happening, and the mood of the house changes. Raka, Grandma Ida's grandson and the family's biggest skeptic, begins to sense something is off. Every night the chair creaks in the empty living room, and it keeps ending up in new spots no one remembers moving it to. Grandma Ida flatly refuses to let anyone sell or toss the chair, dodging every question about why. One night Raka catches her sitting in it, chatting with someone who isn't there, and his curiosity takes over. With a few close friends, he traces the chair's history and unearths old stories about the house, its former residents, and an event the family has buried for decades. The more they dig, the stranger it gets: footsteps in the hall, doors swinging open on their own, photos shifting place, and a report of a figure in the chair while the house was empty. The haunting strains the family too. Hidden secrets surface; some relatives want the chair gone immediately, others think it carries a message, and Grandma Ida behaves as if she has known everything from the start. Raka can't shake two questions: who has really been sitting in that chair, and why does disaster follow whenever it rocks by itself? This season blends family, buried secrets, friendship and courage around an old chair hiding a far bigger story than anyone guessed, and Raka's search for the truth is only beginning.
